A story of a young drummer and his temperamentally aggressive teacher going to extremes to get it right or prove the unprovable. Good mellow trickery in jealousy and rough battle of egos make a solid background to the film. JK Simmons also known for ‘Juno‘ proves his talents limitless in discipline, mental sobriety or togetherness.
