LA Based Songwriter and performer Redgrave Jones is back with her first official release since debut EP ‘Luckiest Girl In The World’ in 2017. “Run You Down” explores a different side to Redgraves music and leans toward electro with layers of ominous synth and understated, but thick beats. It’s perfectly gloomy with a little animosity sprinkled throughout.

The track is a bit of a revenge song!

Redgrave Jones explains:

The song became, in the process of writing it, about frustration towards a fellow who ghosted me and gave me a plethora of mixed messages along the way. As they are wont  to do.  He’s sabotaging things with me. And so, I want to run him down…

About Redgrave Jones

Redgrave Jones is a Los Angeles based songwriter and performer. Her sound is insanely unique drawing influence from early 90’s alternative and trip hop like PJ Harvey, Portishead and Nine Inch Nails as well as artists such as Billie Holiday, Etta James, Bach and Biggie Smalls. You never quite know what you are going to get with her music, but you can be sure to expect something emotionally raw, poetic and hypnotic – whether she’s rocking out or slinking into a deep dark psychedelic beat. Her debut EP Luckiest Girl In The Wold was released in 2017 and since then she has been spending time playing out with her magnificent band and working on new material.
She is currently working on a full length album to be released early 2023.
