A masterpiece in terms of special effects involving two of the greatest trilogies that cinemas have ever seen, Kong and Godzilla united in a single film to decide who is the strongest. ’’Godzilla vs Kong’’ focuses more on the action than the scientific area that is present in the other movies. This film is a box office success and certainly surpassed many expectations showing several scenes of struggle between the two entities present, with impeccable quality of special effects and with a nostalgic audience, making the 36 million pounds mark reach only during the pandemic.

This crossover kept the same cast as in the Godzilla production, including Millie Bobby Brown who turns into a teenager and is obsessed with the creature, showing characteristics of an adventurer and trying to discover the truth about why Godzilla attacked again without being provoked. Unfortunately, the Kong’s cast was not maintained but has very good actors in their place, including Rebecca Hall, who had a brilliant performance as a scientist in the facility in which Kong is kept, and of course Alexander Skarsgård who is a scientist that lost his brother in an expedition to the Hollow Earth and now tries to complete his brother’s mission.

Also, this movie shows how humanity would deal if it knew it had living beings on a higher level than they themselves can be. And, the character of Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) who is more worried about helping and understanding the lizard can be used as an example, and Jia, a native child from Skull Island who has a very strong bond with Kong, being able to even communicate through signal language with the giant gorilla. It is even more noticeable when these two characters try to convince everyone not to just think that the titans are animals that only think about destruction but that they also have an emotional side. Unfortunately, everybody is too worried to understand them.

Everyone that has a fascination for action or scientific fiction films should watch this one, because it is incredibly well done and can be considered to be at the same level as the previous ones.
