Astronaut’s new single ‘Forever’ is soaring Scandinavian Indie-Pop produced by Claudius Mittendorfer (Arctic Monkeys, Temples, Johnny Marr)
The Danish based band’s new single is a dark and fast-paced song, with pulsing bass and anthemic synths, done in collaboration with star-producer Claudius Mittendorfer (Arctic Monkeys, Temples, Johnny Marr).

Astronaut’s upcoming album is named after the ancient Japanese philosophy ‘Kintsugi’ about highlighting the imperfect and accepting change in our lives. A broken vase, repaired with glue and gold; a broken heart patched back together.
On ‘Kintsugi’ Astronaut continues to explore their sonic universe with Claudius Mittendorfer. The sound of the new material is described as being more playful and experimenting, while still maintaining Astronaut’s classic mix of 90’s romantic art-rock and modern pop.
‘Forever’ and the new album ‘Kintsugi’ is out the 24th of March.
Astronaut formed in 2015 at The Royal Academy of Music in Denmark, as lead singer and otherworldly charismatic frontman Martin Zeppelin united old and new friends in an original setup. The sound quickly turned into a vintage late 70’s sound with a modern, spacious animalistic overlay. After touring in Denmark and the neighboring counties, the bands hard work culminated with their debut album “Silence One” in april 2019.
After a series of good reviews, national airplay and five-starred live shows Astronaut released the single “Amazing” in november 2019, which foreshadowed a more experimental and straightforward approach; an approach easily recognized on the bands coming album ‘Kintsugi’.
