The first teaser for Steven Spielberg’s long-rumored UFO epic, Disclosure Day, has finally landed — and it promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Spielberg, the visionary behind alien classics like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T., and War of the Worlds, returns to the genre with a star-studded cast led by SAG winner and Oscar® nominee Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place) and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Josh O’Connor (Challengers, The Crown), alongside Oscar® winner Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and two-time Oscar® nominee Colman Domingo.

While the plot remains tightly under wraps, the teaser exudes the same awe-inspiring wonder that made Close Encounters of the Third Kind a timeless classic, sparking fan speculation about whether this mysterious new story exists in a shared universe.
Based on a story by Spielberg, the screenplay is penned by David Koepp, whose collaborations with Spielberg include Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Koepp also scripted this year’s Jurassic World: Rebirth, and together, his previous works with Spielberg have grossed more than $3 billion worldwide.
Disclosure Day is produced by five-time Academy Award® nominee Kristie Macosko Krieger (The Fabelmans, West Side Story) and Spielberg himself for Amblin Entertainment, with executive producers Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.
